Working with Balkan Architecture Biennale and Faculty of Architecture, we designed a poster and a catalogue for 2017. Following the year’s theme “New Patterns in Architecture & Urbanism”, our task was to create a pattern that will be integrated in the biennale branding. Our client’s requirements were a clean and readable catalogue where the photographs and renders of the presented works stand out.

This made one of our challenges to combine a great amount of content with a limited page number. We decided upon an elegant, readable font and the color focus was shifted to the orange color that is in the BAB organisation logotype and makes the main part of their branding. The main design idea was to combine geometric shapes, contrasting colors and the architecture pattern to contribute the visual identity of the organisation.
